This does not apply to any suggestions for updates you have made. We want you to know how we collect, use, share, disclose, and protect information about you. By using this site or/and our services, you consent to the Processing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy. We may change or add to this Privacy Policy, so we encourage you to review it periodically.

Legal basis for collection

Data are collected based on a legal basis provided by the GDPR, namely your consent to the processing of your Data, when the processing of your Data is necessary for the performance of the contract by Clapy or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, based on a legal obligation or a legitimate interest of Clapy (specifically for the purposes of risk management or the improvement of our offers and services according to the preferences of the Customers).

We promise to follow the following data protection principles:

Lawful, fair, transparent. Our Processing activities have lawful grounds. We always consider your rights before Processing Personal Data. We will provide you information regarding Processing upon request.
Limited. Our processing is limited to the purpose for which Personal Data was gathered.
Minimalist. Processing is done with minimal data requierd. We only gather and Process the minimal amount of Personal Data required for any purpose.

If you choose not to provide the Information we request, you may still use Clapy.co, but you may be unable to access certain features or services.

When you register to receive any products or services from us or provide information to us in any other manner, you agree to provide only true, accurate, current and complete information.

We may automatically receive and log certain types of information when you visit or interact with our websites, services, mobile applications or other products, including:

We may also use information about your profile and connections on Third-Party Websites to allow you to share or connect with your friends and contacts on Clapy or to personalize your experience. In addition, we “plugins” and “widgets” on and from various Third-Party Websites that allow you to share Clapy content off of our service.

Your decision to use, or share with, a Third-Party Website when accessing or using our products and services is completely voluntary. Clapy is not responsible for compliance with the policies or practices of any Third-Party Website. You should ensure that you are comfortable with the information such Third-Party Websites may make available to Clapy by reviewing those Websites’ privacy policies and service terms, and by modifying your privacy settings and preferences on those Services.

Any information we receive from Third-Party Websites will be governed by this Privacy Policy.

We might gather information about you that is publicly available.

If you utilize the Services from a country other than the country where our servers are located, your communications with us may result in transferring your personal data across international borders. We do reserve the right to aggregate usage data to measure the performance of our applications, but no identifiable personal information will ever be disclosed to third parties.

Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.

Children

We recognize the particular importance of protecting privacy where children are involved.
